1. About FAB COMM and These Terms
FAB COMM ("FAB COMM", "we", "us" or "our") provides laundry and garment-care services, including doorstep pickup and delivery, primarily for residents of gated communities, apartments, residential societies and other serviceable locations.
These Terms apply to services booked through any FAB COMM channel, including our website, mobile/online booking pages, phone, WhatsApp, community service counter or kiosk, customer support, promotional links, or any future FAB COMM application or digital channel.
A reference to a "customer" or "you" means the person who books, pays for, hands over, receives, or otherwise uses the service.
2. Eligibility and Order Acceptance
You should be legally capable of entering into a service transaction. If you place an order on behalf of another person, household or organization, you confirm that you are authorized to do so.
An online or verbal booking request does not always guarantee acceptance. FAB COMM may decline, reschedule or limit an order because of service-area restrictions, capacity, safety concerns, garment condition, equipment limitations, payment issues or other reasonable operational reasons.
We may contact you to verify an order, clarify instructions, confirm prices, or obtain approval for additional treatment before processing.
3. Services We May Offer
Depending on the location, garment type and availability, FAB COMM may offer services such as:
Wash & Fold for suitable everyday garments and household laundry.
Wash & Iron / Wash & Press.
Steam ironing or press-only service.
Dry cleaning for suitable garments and textiles.
Shoe, bag, curtain, blanket, carpet, soft-furnishing or other specialized cleaning where specifically offered.
Express / priority processing where available.
Subscription, community, corporate or bulk-laundry plans.
Pickup, delivery and related customer-support services.
Not every service is available for every item or at every location. FAB COMM may recommend a different cleaning method or decline an item when the requested method could reasonably damage the item or cannot be performed safely.
4. Booking, Pickup and Order Verification
4.1 Booking information
You must provide accurate contact details, service location, pickup instructions, preferred time slot and any special care information that may affect the service.
4.2 Pickup
Pickup times are estimates and may change because of traffic, weather, security procedures, access restrictions, peak demand or other operational conditions.
For gated communities, the customer is responsible for enabling reasonable access or coordinating with security/reception where required.
If our executive cannot access the location, contact you, or collect the order after a reasonable attempt, the pickup may be rescheduled and a disclosed re-visit or logistics fee may apply where appropriate.
4.3 Final count, weight and classification
The count or description recorded at the doorstep may be provisional. FAB COMM may verify item count, weight, fabric type, service category, visible condition and treatment requirements at the processing location. If there is a material difference affecting the price or service method, we may contact you before proceeding.
5. Customer Responsibilities
To help us provide safe and reliable service, you agree to:
Empty all pockets and remove cash, jewellery, watches, earphones, electronics, documents, pens, cosmetics, medicines, keys, coins, accessories and other personal belongings before pickup.
Tell us about valuable, designer, sentimental, delicate, vintage or unusual garments before processing so we can assess whether special handling is required.
Point out stains, damage, loose buttons, weak seams, broken zippers, colour bleeding history, fabric sensitivity, alterations, special coatings or other conditions known to you.
Provide accurate garment-care instructions where the manufacturer label is missing, incorrect, unreadable or has been removed.
Not include hazardous, contaminated, infested, flammable, chemically exposed or unsafe items unless FAB COMM has expressly agreed to handle them.
Check your order promptly after delivery and inform us of any concern within the claim period stated in these Terms.
FAB COMM is not responsible for ordinary loss or damage to personal property left inside pockets or attached to garments where the item was not disclosed and the loss was not caused by our negligence. This does not limit liability that cannot legally be excluded.
6. Garment Care, Labels, Stains and Inherent Risks
6.1 Reasonable professional care
FAB COMM will use reasonable professional care and select a cleaning process that we consider suitable based on the garment, care label, visible condition, service selected and information provided by you.
6.2 Stain removal
We do not guarantee that every stain, odour, mark, discoloration or pre-existing defect can be completely removed. Some stains become permanent, and repeated or aggressive treatment may damage fabric. We may stop treatment where further processing could reasonably harm the item.
6.3 Fabric and manufacturing risks
Some changes can occur even when correct care methods are used. Examples include shrinkage within normal fabric tolerance, colour loss or bleeding, fading, texture change, print cracking, adhesive failure, decorative damage, pilling, minor dimensional change, weak-seam failure, or deterioration caused by age, wear, sunlight, perspiration, prior treatment, poor dye fastness or manufacturing defects.
FAB COMM will not be responsible for damage that is primarily caused by a hidden defect, incorrect care label, defective dye or trim, pre-existing weakness, normal wear and tear, prior improper treatment, or an inherent characteristic of the material, except to the extent required by applicable law.
7. Special, Designer and High-Value Items
You should identify high-value, designer, luxury, sentimental, bridal, embellished, vintage, leather, suede, silk, wool, handloom or other delicate items before pickup. FAB COMM may inspect the item, request additional instructions, quote a separate price, require written acknowledgement of special risks, or decline the item if safe processing cannot reasonably be assured.
If a high-value or special item is not disclosed, FAB COMM may not be able to apply appropriate special handling. Any claim will still be assessed fairly and in accordance with applicable law, but non-disclosure may be relevant to the assessment of responsibility and compensation.
8. Pricing, Minimum Orders, Taxes and Additional Charges
Prices may be shown per kilogram, per piece, per pair, per set, by category, or as a package/subscription. The price applicable to your order is the price communicated or displayed at the relevant booking stage, subject to final verification of the items.
The final bill may include, where clearly applicable and disclosed, minimum order requirements, express charges, special-treatment charges, pickup/delivery fees, re-visit charges, subscription terms, taxes and other lawful charges.
If an item is materially different from the category selected at booking, or requires a different process, FAB COMM may revise the quotation and seek your approval before processing. If you do not approve, we may return the item and charge only any reasonable, previously disclosed pickup/handling amount that has already been incurred.
9. Payment
Payment may be accepted through UPI, cards, digital wallets, net banking, cash, prepaid balance, subscription credit or other methods made available by FAB COMM.
You are responsible for ensuring that payment details are correct and that sufficient funds are available.
Where a third-party payment processor is used, its own terms and security procedures may also apply.
FAB COMM may withhold delivery where a valid, undisputed amount remains unpaid, subject to applicable law and any prior arrangement with the customer.
Invoices or digital receipts may be issued electronically. You should contact customer support promptly if you believe a charge is incorrect.
10. Turnaround Time and Service Delays
Turnaround times are estimates, not guaranteed deadlines, unless FAB COMM expressly confirms a guaranteed service in writing. Different items may require different processing times.
Delays may occur due to difficult stains, reprocessing, drying conditions, equipment issues, power or water interruptions, vendor delays, traffic, weather, community access restrictions, public events, holidays, safety issues or other circumstances beyond reasonable control. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate material delays.
A delay by itself does not automatically entitle the customer to compensation, but FAB COMM may provide an appropriate remedy where a committed service standard was not met and applicable law or the circumstances justify it.
11. Delivery and Order Handover
Delivery will be made to the address or collection point agreed for the order, subject to serviceability and access.
You may authorize another person, family member, security desk or reception to receive the order. Delivery to the authorized recipient or location will normally be treated as completed delivery.
Please check the package and item count promptly. If there is a visible mismatch or concern, contact FAB COMM as soon as possible.
If delivery cannot be completed because the customer is unavailable or access is not permitted, we may reschedule. A disclosed re-delivery or storage charge may apply after reasonable notice where appropriate.
12. Cancellations and Rescheduling
12.1 Before pickup
You may normally cancel or reschedule an order without a service charge before pickup, unless a special booking, prepaid plan, dedicated logistics arrangement or promotional condition states otherwise.
12.2 After pickup or processing has started
If you cancel after we have collected the items or started work, FAB COMM may charge for logistics, inspection, handling, treatment or cleaning already performed. We will not charge for work that has not been performed, except for any reasonable non-refundable charge that was clearly disclosed before booking.
12.3 Cancellation by FAB COMM
We may cancel or return an order where an item is unsafe, cannot be treated with available methods, the requested service would likely damage it, payment cannot be completed, or the service cannot reasonably be fulfilled. Any refund due will be processed in accordance with these Terms and applicable law. For online transactions, any cancellation charge will be applied only to the extent permitted by applicable consumer law.
13. Re-Cleaning, Refunds and Service Quality Concerns
If you are not satisfied with the cleaning or finishing quality, contact FAB COMM promptly and preferably within 48 hours of delivery. Keep the garment in substantially the same condition in which it was delivered so that we can inspect the issue.
Depending on the circumstances, we may offer one or more of the following remedies:
Inspection and explanation of the result.
Re-cleaning or re-ironing at no additional charge where reasonably possible.
Partial or full refund of the affected service charge.
Account credit or another mutually agreed remedy.
Fair compensation for a verified service-related loss or damage claim.
Refund timing depends on the payment method, banking network and payment provider. FAB COMM will initiate approved refunds within a reasonable period and will communicate the status where needed.
14. Loss, Damage and Claims
14.1 Reporting a claim
Please report a missing item, visible damage or other service-related concern as soon as reasonably possible and preferably within 48 hours of delivery. Provide the order number and, where available, photos, purchase information, garment details and any other information needed for a fair assessment.
14.2 Investigation
FAB COMM may inspect the item, review pickup/delivery records, process notes, photographs, CCTV where lawfully available, vendor records and other relevant information. We may ask for reasonable time to investigate.
14.3 Compensation assessment
Where FAB COMM accepts responsibility for loss or service-related damage, the remedy will be determined fairly by considering factors such as the garment type, age, condition, purchase value if reasonably evidenced, depreciation, repairability, service charge, degree of damage and applicable law. FAB COMM may choose repair, replacement contribution, refund, service credit or monetary compensation as appropriate.
No clause in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, or any statutory consumer right that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
15. Unclaimed or Undeliverable Orders
If an order cannot be delivered or collected because we cannot reach you, FAB COMM may store it for a reasonable period and make reasonable attempts to contact you. After notice, reasonable storage or re-delivery charges may apply where disclosed. Any eventual disposal or other treatment of long-unclaimed property will be handled only in a lawful and reasonable manner.
16. Service Partners and Third-Party Providers
FAB COMM may use trained staff, delivery partners, specialized cleaning vendors, payment processors, messaging providers, technology suppliers or other service providers to help fulfil an order. Where a third party processes garments on our behalf, FAB COMM remains your primary customer-service contact for that order unless we clearly state otherwise.
Third parties may have separate terms for services they independently provide, such as payment processing or external digital platforms. FAB COMM is not responsible for a third party's independent service beyond the extent required by law or agreed with you.
17. Promotions, Discounts, Credits and Subscriptions
Promotions, referral benefits, coupons, wallet credits, community discounts and subscriptions may have separate eligibility, validity, minimum order, usage or expiry conditions. Those conditions form part of these Terms for the relevant offer.
Unless otherwise stated or required by law, promotional credits are not exchangeable for cash and cannot be combined with other offers. FAB COMM may correct credits or discounts applied because of an obvious technical or pricing error, while respecting completed transactions and applicable consumer law.
18. Prohibited or Unsafe Items
FAB COMM may refuse items that present a health, safety, legal or operational risk, including items containing sharp objects, hazardous chemicals, flammable substances, heavy biological contamination, pest infestation, prohibited substances, or materials that require equipment or licences we do not have.
If an undisclosed unsafe item causes injury, contamination, equipment damage or other loss, the customer may be responsible for the resulting reasonable costs to the extent permitted by law.
19. Acceptable Use of Our Website and Booking Channels
You agree not to misuse FAB COMM websites, booking systems, customer-support channels or digital services. This includes attempting unauthorized access, introducing malicious code, impersonating another person, making fraudulent bookings, abusing staff, interfering with operations, or using the service for unlawful activity.
FAB COMM may suspend or refuse service for serious or repeated misuse, fraud, threats, non-payment, harassment, safety risks or unlawful conduct, while honouring any non-waivable consumer rights.
20. Privacy and Communications
FAB COMM handles personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection law. By placing an order, you authorize us to use the contact and service information reasonably necessary to manage pickup, processing, payment, delivery, support, fraud prevention and service communications.
Operational messages such as pickup updates, order status, invoices, delivery alerts and complaint communications are part of providing the service. Marketing messages, where used, will be handled in accordance with applicable consent and opt-out requirements.
21. Intellectual Property
FAB COMM names, logos, website content, service descriptions, graphics, photographs, software, designs and other brand materials are owned by FAB COMM or used with permission. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute or commercially use them without permission, except where law allows.
22. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FAB COMM is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses that were not reasonably foreseeable from the service transaction. This may include loss of opportunity, business interruption or similar indirect loss.
These limitations do not apply where the law does not allow them, and they do not remove your rights under applicable consumer-protection law. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence or other liability that cannot legally be excluded.
23. Events Beyond Reasonable Control
FAB COMM will not be treated as having breached these Terms for a delay or failure caused by events beyond reasonable control, such as severe weather, flooding, fire, epidemic restrictions, civil disruption, government action, transport shutdown, major utility failure, labour disruption, building/community access restrictions, cyber incidents affecting essential providers, or similar events. We will make reasonable efforts to reduce the impact and resume service.
24. Changes to Services, Prices or These Terms
FAB COMM may change service availability, operational procedures, prices or these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms may be posted on our website or communicated through appropriate customer channels. Where a change materially affects an existing confirmed order, we will apply the terms and price already agreed for that order unless the change is required by law or you agree otherwise.
Your continued use of FAB COMM after updated Terms become effective means the updated Terms will apply to future orders.
25. Complaints and Grievance Resolution
We want to resolve service concerns fairly and quickly. Please contact FAB COMM Customer Care / Grievance Support with your order number and a clear description of the issue. Where evidence is available, include photographs or other supporting details.
FAB COMM will acknowledge and review complaints within a reasonable period and will work toward an appropriate resolution. Where the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 apply to an online order, FAB COMM will follow the applicable grievance timelines, including acknowledgement within 48 hours and redress within one month. Nothing in this process prevents a consumer from using any complaint, mediation or consumer-dispute mechanism available under applicable law.

26. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. If a dispute cannot be resolved through customer support, the parties may use any lawful negotiation, mediation, consumer grievance, consumer commission, court or other remedy available under applicable law. Any jurisdiction clause will operate subject to the customer's mandatory rights under consumer-protection law.
27. General Terms
27.1 Severability
If any part of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
27.2 No waiver
If FAB COMM does not enforce a provision on one occasion, that does not mean the provision is permanently waived.
27.3 Entire service agreement
These Terms, together with the order confirmation, applicable price/offer conditions, Privacy Policy and any specific written service instructions accepted for an order, form the agreement for that service transaction.
27.4 Priority of specific terms
If a specific written term for a special garment, subscription, corporate plan or promotional offer conflicts with these general Terms, the specific term will apply to that matter, subject to applicable law.
28. Acceptance
By booking, handing over items, making payment, or otherwise using FAB COMM services after these Terms become effective, you confirm that you have had an opportunity to read and understand them and agree to be bound by them, subject to your rights under applicable law.
